About this event

The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) will host two free application preparation webinars to discuss the guidelines and online application process for the FY22 Programming & Capacity Building Project Grants (PCBPG). The webinars will also cover navigating the online SurveyMonkey Apply (SMApply) grants portal.

The webinars will take place on:

  • Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Instructions on how to join will be sent via email to registrants on the day of the webinar.

Please make sure to have the following materials ready before joining:

  • A computer with a strong internet connection (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox recommended) to join the webinar and access the online application; and
  • A copy of the FY22 PCBPG guidelines. (It is highly recommended that webinar attendees read the FY22 PCBPG guidelines beforehand and come prepared with questions.)

Both webinars will cover the same material. Applicants are not required to attend preparation webinars, however AHCMC recommends that all applicants attend. First-time applicants are highly encouraged to contact AHCMC grants staff and attend one webinar prior to applying.

About this Grant Category

Programming & Capacity Building Project Grants (PCBPG) are available to arts and humanities organizations and groups located in Montgomery County, MD that may or may not be incorporated as non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status. Grant awards support projects for organizations and groups that work in a wide array of arts and humanities disciplines including performing arts, folk and traditional arts, media arts, visual arts, literary arts, history, and philosophy.

The award amounts for PCBPG range from at least $1,000 up to $10,000. The grant guidelines and application templates are available on the AHCMC website (https://www.creativemoco.com/grant/pcbpg/).

All applications and relevant materials must be submitted through the online SurveyMonkey Apply (SMApply) grants portal.
